As our Clinical Genetic Counsellor, you will utilise your genetics expertise to support the delivery of our preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) services, including aneuploidy screening (PGT-A), single gene disorders (PGT-M), and chromosome rearrangements (PGT-SR).
You will also support the recruitment of gamete donors and facilitate the provision of extended carrier screening. You will be a key participant in the improvement of delivered genomics services and departmental contributions to Care Fertility.
About you:
You will have a Master’s Degree in Genetic Counselling or similar field from a Genetic Counselling Registration Board accredited institution, or its equivalent. You are board registered/board eligible with the UK’s Genetic Counsellor Registration Board (GCRB), or its equivalent.
You have experience in reproductive genetic counselling and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You can work independently and remotely with occasional need for domestic and/or international travel (if required).
Location/Benefits:
This is a full-time role, on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role; you just need to live within easy commuting distance of one of our clinics.
