Our People
At Care, it’s our people that have made us the fertility group we are today. We are one of the largest independent providers of fertility treatments in the world and draw on the knowledge and expertise of our specialists. Our dedicated doctors, embryologists, nurses and support teams all work together to ensure our patient receive the very best fertility treatment. You’ll soon feel like part of the Care family.
Our dedicated nurses and clinical professional teams work together to ensure patients receive the very best fertility treatment. They provide a world class service to our patients on their journey to having a family. Performing a wide range of clinical duties from patient assessments, pre-treatment consultation and venepuncture, to egg retrieval embryo transfers, endometrial biopsies and ultrasound scanning.
Patient experience is of great importance to us, we believe that family is for everybody and everybody should have the best experience possible. We help to make sure that every one of our patients receives the greatest care and support possible.
We are very committed to our nurses and clinical professional teams and share best practice across the Care group. We have monthly nurses journal clubs and support training and conferences. Many of our nurses have extended their roles and are working as Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
Our scientists have been at the forefront of IVF science and development; our founder Professor Simon Fishel, was part of the team involved in the birth of the world’s first IVF baby, Louise Brown, in 1978.
We aim to be the greatest employer of embryologists in the country, so you’ll have unrivaled opportunities to develop your skills and abilities. We have a range of bespoke tools such as Care Maps, genetic testing cycles, a vast array of high-tech embryology procedures and many developmental projects you can contribute to.
IVF laboratories are where all the magic happens, so it’s important that they're the very best they can be.
Our state-of-the-art labs have been built to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patients, as well as provide our scientists with the perfect environment to create and care for embryos.
We’re the only fertility clinic in the UK to have invested in dedicated training facilities, which means our embryologists are able to step out of the clinical lab and into a space that’s been purpose-designed for the training and development of our teams. Our training suite is a state-of-the-art facility for training and educating in IVF technologies. It has a large laboratory area, for technical and hands-on training as well as a zone for lectures and focus groups with audio-visual equipment, including a live link up to our on-site clinical laboratory.
Our team of Fertility Consultants are medical experts who deliver the highest standards of clinical care for our patients. They understand that every patient that comes to us has individual needs. That’s why, when patients have treatment with Care, they provide an exceptional consultation service and develop personalised treatment plans that work for the needs of the patient. The experience our patients receive is critical to us and the patient centred treatment our consultants provide is paramount to their experience.
Our consultants work collaboratively to provide standardised practice across the organisation while continually striving to further improve and develop service, and continuing their professional development.
